Step ahead of the competition with Strategic Onboarding

blueprint

O

kay, so you're telling folks that your people are your greatest asset. That's a great start.

How well are your behaviors and processes backing you up? In this pressure-cooker environment with increased competition, changing customer behaviors, constant technology advancements and economic uncertainty, now is a great time to leverage that "greatest asset" as a real differentiator.

So you seek the right employee to match the needs of the organization. Again, great start. But your competitor is doing this as well.

Let's look a little bit closer at that moment that your new talent enters the front door of the organization for the first time. This is a moment of tremendous opportunity, and the ideal moment to:

  • Ensure that the new hire’s experience is engaging, and immediately begins to build affiliation with your firm.
  • Align the new employee’s skills and past experience with the culture and knowledge of their colleagues.
  • Create a productive and collaborative environment.
  • Affirm for the employee that they have made the right choice. (Let’s avoid starting over with finding the right employee, again!)
  • And get them up and running immediately so they can successfully manage their roles and responsibilities out the gate.

It's called Strategic Onboarding. And at Blueline Simulations, we have been recognized by organizations such as ASTD for building the most effective strategic onboarding experiences in the industry.

"Excellent." You say: "Sign me up. Now how do I do that?"

Here are a few methods to consider.
