David Milliken
Managing Partner David has over 20 years experience of designing and delivering immersive learning solutions to the world's largest and most progressive organizations. He has led major transformation initiatives, developed sales support infrastructures, and set innovative marketing and new product development agendas for multiple global and national organizations. David is widely regarded as an expert in simulations and serious games and their application to solve complex business problems; he consults with companies like Eli Lilly, FedEx, The Limited, AOL Time Warner, and Kimberly Clark. David and his team were recently given the American Society for Training and Development's prestigious Excellence in Practice Citation and subsequent Award for their design of new hire onboarding at Booz Allen Hamilton: America's legendary consulting firm. He has also recently led teams that have created innovative onboarding designs for a Fortune 10 Financial Institution and America's largest Wireless Carrier. Previously, David directed Paradigm Learning's Executive Team through a period of tremendous growth from 1999 through 2002; and was the National Director of Business Development for Deloitte & Touche, LLP, Financial Counseling Services where he worked from 1997 to 1999. While at Deloitte, he engineered dramatic growth by defining sales strategy, building a marketing platform, and developing organizational sales skills for this 200-million-dollar business unit. From 1988 to 1997, Mr. Milliken worked for Development Dimensions International in various sales and management roles. Highlights of his tenure there include eclipsing the company's sales record and managing the company's fastest-growing and largest business unit. David graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from Princeton University with independent study directed toward entrepreneurship and franchising. His thesis analyzed the profitability of franchisees over company owned stores. Donna K. Burnette
Senior Partner, Operations and Consulting Donna K. Burnette has over 25 years of business and consulting expertise. Recently she partnered with Stephen M.R. Covey to build a discovery learning simulation based on the bestselling book, The Speed of Trust. A frequent conference speaker, she is sought as a presenter on the topics of trust and discovery learning. Prior to partnering with CoveyLink, Donna was the CEO of Solutions House, whose client base includes Wal-Mart, Coca-Cola, Eli Lilly, General Motors and others. She also served as Senior Vice President of Operations for Paradigm Learning, where she was a driving force in Paradigm’s revenue growth. Additionally, she designed and implemented systems and processes that provided a foundation to sustain fast growth for the Custom Training Business Unit. In earlier years, Donna was trained as a reengineering consultant whose clients included Deutsche bank where she led process reengineering workshops for back offices. She was certified as a reengineering consultant during her career at National Insurance Services where she was first Director of OD and then Vice President of Human Development. In her fifteen years with General Motors, Donna moved from a role as a shop floor employee to a front-line supervisor and into assignments in personnel and training. She was recruited by General Electric where she embraced the opportunity to facilitate Jack Welch’s “Work-Out” process in the role of quality and productivity leader for two lighting plants was an opportunity. Donna has an MS Organization Development from Bowling Green State University and a BS in Business Management from Indiana Wesleyan. She taught Organization Development in Indiana Wesleyan’s Executive Development program. She has written featured articles in several trade publications. She also contributed an article, “Complex Organizational Change Through Discovery-based Learning,” to the book A Treasure Chest of Six Sigma. Robert Coates
Senior Partner, Consulting and Instructional Design Robert Coates has over 25 years of experience designing and facilitating corporate communications and employee development sessions. He is a catalyst for the motivation, understanding, confidence, and competence needed for successful communication and learning. His experience in design, delivery, and management processes results in new behaviors and skills. As a consultant, clients often comment on how quickly Robert is able to grasp their business challenges, understand their objectives and develop team alignment around creative solutions. Robert is focused on delivering solutions that achieve results, such as saving a national cellular phone provider over one million dollars a year, by reducing by 50% the time needed to train new retail sales associates, while increasing their sales in their first sixty days on the job. Or, enhancing and facilitating a Leadership Development process for a Fortune 500 manufacturer that resulted in $18 million in savings in the first two years. Robert has worked in a wide range of industries including financial, energy, pharmaceutical, health care delivery, manufacturing, cellular phone, retail sales, electric utilities, and consumer products, as well as the non-profit arena with local, and state government agencies and NGOs. Senior Partner, Consulting and Project Management Lynne Hambleton has over 25 years of business experience in consulting services, product marketing, strategic planning, sales operations, customer support and training in companies spanning many industries and sizes. Hambleton has guided organizational transformations, redirected troubled projects to successful completion, conducted workshops, and coached clients on business process improvement projects. Recent engagements include sales force effectiveness, strategic marketing re-alignment, product/services development, commercialization process, talent development, and organization/cultural transformation to project-centric operations for organizations like Johnson & Johnson, BD, Merck, Logitech and Citi Corp. Hambleton has written several publications including “Tackling a Process Improvement Initiative”, BM Quarterly Journal article, GDS Publications, April 2009; “Treasure Chest of Six Sigma Growth Methods”, Tools & Best Practice, a Prentice-Hall publication, July 2007; and “Six Sigma in Marketing Processes - An Overview for Executives, Leaders and Marketing Managers”, co-authors CM Creveling and B. McCarthy, a Prentice-Hall publication, March 2006. Hambleton graduated with a Master’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in industrial marketing; a Master’s degree in Adult & Higher Education / Organizational Development; and a Bachelor of Science degree in psychophysiology – all from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Hambleton is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) (PMI, 1998); Master Black Belt (MBB); and Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) from Villanova University (2006). She was adjunct professor of strategic planning and marketing at Rochester Institute of Technology School of Business and assistant director of Learning & Assessment in the School of Medicine at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. Director Mr. Thompson, the founder and CEO of TAMCO, is a serial entrepreneur with more than 30 years of experience in building successful leasing enterprises. Prior to founding TAMCO in 1994, Mr. Thompson held various positions with the Williams Communications Group (WilTel), TIE Communications, and Telecommunications Specialists Inc. (TSI). The recognition of TAMCO by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest-growing companies in North America marked the fourth time a company under his leadership has achieved that designation. Mr. Thompson also serves as founder and chairman of the Board of Trustees for TAMCO Foundation. Throughout his career, Mr. Thompson has actively participated in providing support to the community. Aware of the need to honor and provide direct support to military veterans who have been severely wounded and disabled while serving our country, he founded TAMCO Foundation. Director Mr. Branyan completed a thirty-one year career in telecommunications when he retired from Sprint in 2000. During his career, he held executive positions at AT&T and Sprint in marketing, sales, business development, operations, regulatory and legislative relations, and human resources. His last assignment at Sprint was president of a $2B business unit. In recent years Mr. Branyan has consulted with clients such as the City of Winter Park, Florida State University, and several new ventures. Mr. Branyan was an initial investor in Blueline Simulations and has been associated with the company since its inception. He and his wife live in the Kansas City area. Mr. Branyan holds bachelor and masters degrees from Miami University and Baker University, respectively. |
